Werde Teil unseres Teams und bring den Wasserstoff voran!
We will be exhibiting at the Hyvolution trade fair in Paris for the first time at the end of January 2025. Together with a few friendly companies, we can be found in the German Pavilion in Hall 6.
A paper on the key properties of carbon black materials for fuel cells and batteries, in which ZBT researcher Adib Caidi was also involved, was honoured with the CENIDE Best Paper Award 2024.
Safety first! In the field of hydrogen technologies, there is still a great need for norms and standards to ensure safety. A joint workshop organised by Fraunhofer ISE, DLR and ZBT in February 2025 will drive the topic forward.
The ZBT Supporters' Organisation meets regularly for its general meeting. In addition to the usual association business, current topics from the world of hydrogen are always discussed. Intensive networking is a thing too. At the subsequent ZBT Insights, which are open to everyone, industry players provide valuable insights into their work.
Shortly before the end of the FC_Bio project, the project committee met for its final meeting at the ZBT. The results from the four sub-projects were summarised. They should help to make fuel cells more environmentally friendly and sustainable than they already are.
Alternative propulsion systems are intended to make aviation more environmentally friendly. To achieve this, they need to be particularly light and powerful. A consortium with ZBT participation is currently developing a particularly power-dense fuel cell stack.
CENIDE, ZBT and Anton Paar Germany are once again jointly organising the ‘Electrolysis | Fuel Cell Cooperation Seminar’ in Duisburg in March 2025.
ZBT is developing air-cooled lightweight fuel cells with a high power density for research into an innovative, hydrogen-based drive system for UAVs and aircraft in the 25 kg to 2 tonne weight class.
