Here we do inform you on our current projects at ZBT. You will find the published project reports in our publication list. For any further inquiries please contact us directly.

In the IGF project 15 EWN, ZBT developed novel electrodes for lithium-sulphur batteries based on lithium sulphide (Li2S) as cathode material together with project partners of the University of Cologne, Chair of Inorganic and Materials Chemistry and the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), Chair of Energy Technology.
A nice holiday photo or the return voucher for an unsuitable dress from an online shop is something you like to quickly print at home with an inkjet printer. In collaboration with the TU Chemnitz, we used this technique to print cathode catalyst layers for PEM fuel cells directly onto a polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM).
A good example of the successful (long-standing) cooperation between the Institute for Product Engineering (IPE) of the University of Duisburg-Essen and the ZBT can be seen in the R&D project “Thermally conductive plastic pipes”.
Within the BMWi project "InduRex", ZBT produced bipolar plate foils based on graphite-compounds and successfully demonstrated their stability in fuel cell operation for the first time.
